This study was performed to know the expression of 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/△5-△4 isomerase (3β-HSD) after moxibustion at the CV₃ (Joong-Kuk) in rat. Follow results was observed.
l . After immunostain the ovary, 3β-HCD was appeared in control, exp 1, exp 2, exp 3 group and was more stained that of granular cell of exp 1, exp 2, exp 3 than control group, but do not significantly.
2. After Western Blot the ovary, 3β-HCD band was appeared in control, exp 1, exp 2, exp 3 group at 42kda. The length and width of band of exp 1, exp 2 was bigger than control group.
3. After mass analysis with Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay, 3β-HCD mass of exp 1, exp 2, exp 3 was less than control group.I
Above the results, it was clear that immunostain, Western Blott and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay was fine method to know the expression of 3β-HSD after moxibustion, and it was needed to be investigated the dynamic effects of mxibustion on sexual hormone at CV₃.
